The pleasing angular oval shape of this coffee table was an opportunity to rethink the traditional coffee table. Crafted from oak, the table has a solid construction thanks to the support of the ‘root-like’ legs that rest entirely on the floor.
Named after Abrie’s daughter, the Melike range has a pared-down aesthetic that offers comfort and simplicity with the use of traditional joinery and skillful craftsmanship. Each piece is low-slung and elegant with defining features a sequence of rounded edges and light frames that belies the strength of their traditional construction.
